Big News…

Hi All,

Exercise on the Spectrum is pleased to announce that there are some exciting changes coming soon.

A New Website

We will be upgrading our website to include more features, content and opportunities for families, parents and clinicians to access resources and services.

Stay tuned!

Our very first E-Book is nearly ready!

At EoS our mission is to make exercise accessible for neurodiverse families and individuals. Autistic young people experience significant barriers to exercise opportunities, and navigating our NDIS system can sometimes take years of advocacy and change before you can access an Exercise Physiologist.

It is our firm belief that this information belongs to you – and that you should have it, whether you have access to funding for individual therapy services or not. That is why we have worked to create some digestible resources for families and supporters to understand the relationship between autism and exercise, its importance, and some clear ideas and strategies on how to implement exercise in your lives.

We will also be running some parent training sessions later in the year.

This online resource will be updated and changed over the years to be in line with the best, evidence-based information, however it is our commitment that the Parent Guide will always remain a free resource for families.

Expanded Services

Due to high demand, and increased availability in the latter half of 2025, we will be recommencing therapy services! Stay tuned for specific dates so that you can get on our waitlist.

Services will include:

  • 1:1 Community Exercise Physiology in the Perth Metro area

  • Parent Education nights – where you can come and learn on a specific topic, network with other families and gain practical insights on how you can support your neurodivergent child with exercise.

  • Clinician mentoring, professional development and training

  • An expanded, fit for purpose Clinician Guide to Exercise on the Spectrum (coming soon!)

A range of exciting resources and opportunities are coming later this year – we look forward to sharing them with you!

Until next time,

Josh
